05:13 pm - I need a good poke in the face. I'm meant to be working but I simply CAN'T focus!!! GRRRR!!!!! I've got the Beatles running on the PC, which should make me work, but it just isn't doing the trick today. Raarrrrrr. Today I have to complete: 3 maths exercises an artist study (which is going to take forever for various reasons) French vocab learning stuffy ENGLISH COURSEWORK (With close reference to two episodes, discuss how far Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’ can be viewed solely as a Gothic fiction novel) *sobs hysterically*. I've done the introduction, it has to be 3-5 pages long, I have to spend way over 5 hours on it, and I need to do it by friday. I would do it on schooldays in the evening, but I can't work then. I just collapse. It's bad enough with the one or two pieces of homework I actually DO. I also have to be in bed by about 10.30, as I am well and truly knackered.
By the by, if you get the chance, watch 'Girl, interrupted'. BLOODY good film. Want to get my paws on the book too... Somebody poke me!!!!!!! Current Mood: anxious Current Music: Beatles- 'If I fell'

12:00 am - Name my iPod!... please? He is a pink mini iPod and it has been decided that he is a gay man. He fancies the absolute arse off Pablo (a friends pink mini... yes, I know they're common as dirt, but I love it to bits!) and apparently Pablo feels the same way about my iPod! Yay! Are they wedding bells I hear? He is quite temperamental, and throws strops if you do something he doesn't like, but he is usually very lovable and romantic! But I can't think of a name for him, and I think he's starting to feel a bit upset about being referred to as 'the pod' or 'the yummy groove machine' or some such (which he has shown by playing up all night... refusing to be updated, reluctant to go to sleep etc. Tut tut. Please help I name my luurve! (I'm sorry for what may seem like a random burst of something other than complete normalness. I'm bored waiting for iTunes to import Give it Away. Apparently I only have to wait another 16 minutes now! I also have a lapsang souchong tealeaf stuck halfway down my throat. That's the disadvantage of using leaf tea as opposed to teabags I guess. Current Mood: as hyper as the day is long Current Music: Fleetwood Mac (don't worry, I know it's not normal)

12:35 pm - I've just realised... pretty much every single entry I've ever posted in this journal has been a moan. Sorry about that... So Merry Christmas, and here's a post full of fluff (seeing as I'm about to post another moan in a short while) fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff fluff it's probably pink fluff, but if you think it'd be better off another colour, please feel free to make it that colour in your mind.

11:21 pm - Byee I'm off to Lille in France for two nights (I'd love to say my mum and I go there every year just before christmas for the culture, but that would be a load of arse. We go because it is shoppers paradise). I'm then meeting Elena and Lily and Lilys mummy at about midday on Sunday when we get back into London, then doing a bit of, hmm, shopping maybe?? Then seeing Muse in the evening (supported by the Zutons (yay) and Silent Machine or something, whoever they are), then being driven back to Lily's flat, then on monday we're taking a detouron the way home and going to Bluewater shopping centre, which is apparently amazing. Then I'll be home. I expect I will collapse about halfway through all that, 'cos I feel quite fluey now anyway, but never mind eh? I hope everyone has a really great weekend, and I'll tell you what mine was like when I get back (just in case anyone cares). Current Mood: giddy Current Music: Denis- Blondie

05:33 pm - Oh... fiddle So I just got home, feeling all smug because I've got almost everything I need for Xmas, and now I find I've lost the Juicy Tube I bought my friend *cries*. They cost the earth as well (well, £12). Waaaah! Edit: OK, just gone and had a 'Good Look' and found it. The box is completely smooshed because it was at the bottom of a big box of heavy things. Never mind eh? On the other hand, I have bought almost everything else I need. Jeremy, I'm organising a present for Jeni (which costs quite a bit) and asking all her friends if they want to contribute any money. I don't know if you want to give anything, but feel free to mail me at rosiecait@gmail.com. Thankye lovely. Current Mood: giggly Current Music: RHCP- Venice Queen

10:28 pm - Oh for fucks fucking sake I'm sure it is actually ILLEGAL for a maths teacher to set us homework this hard. I've barely got a fucking clue what bearings ARE let alone how to work out complicated things from them, and no just because I can do the first one in half an hour, doesn't mean I've got time to do the next 14!!!!!! And, by the way, I couldn't give a toss how far north B is from O. Shove that up your arse and smoke it Mr Arsey Blackburn. Good God, I am amazingly angry at the moment (which, of course, doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the fact that I am a girl and get slightly angry at certain times...) But still! Grrr! rrrrrrr now I shall attempt to do more of this fucking fuckers fucking piece of fucking homework. Wanker. It's going to keep me up til bloody 3 in the fucking morning, let alone doing my art coursework WHICH HAS TO BE IN IN A WEEK! Bloody teachers all seem to think that THEIR lesson is the most important. I hope Mr Blackburn suffers a horrible horrible injury soon, the complete toss pot.
...and breathe... Current Mood: infuriated Current Music: buzzing of la computer

07:35 pm - Ahemhem Hello. Haven't updated for ages, purely because I have nothing to say except to moan. So this is just an update to tell you that I'm alive and the like. Hope you're all alive too. Was also wandering what people's favourite music is? I'm very bored and any kind of interaction with anyone would cheer me up a bit. My faves have got to be... Chilis Muse White Stripes Franz Ferdinand and System of a Down, who are amazing if I'm in that sort of mood, bit shite if I'm not. Current Mood: gloomy Current Music: White Stripes- Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground

10:56 pm - OH. MY. GOD. !!! Muse playing Earls Court in London! I *happen* to be in London that day. It's after we break up for Xmas. Elena can probably come. It was absolutely meant to be. Tickets on sale to the general public from sat, or to Special People (people on the mailing list, eg ME!) from tomorrow at 9. Here's hoping they're not absolutely ridiculous prices, or I won't be able to go and then I might as well curl up in a corner and die. I feel like dancing now!
